1. Place one or two firelighters on your fire grate or in your stove.
  2. Stack a generous amount of kindling on top, leaving a gap near each firelighter.
  3. Evenly place smokeless coal briquettes over the kindling.
  4. Light the firelighters using a long match or taper through the front gaps.
  5. Allow the fire to establish before adjusting airflow for optimal burn.
